Our Campus

Kütahya Dumlupınar University has two campuses in the city center of Kütahya, namely Evliya Çelebi and Germiyan Campuses, as well as separate buildings and campus areas in 10 districts. Evliya Çelebi Campus spans an area of over 7,500 decares. Entrance to the campus is provided through a stone gate designed in the Ottoman-Seljuk architectural style—which is the architectural philosophy of the university's constructions—embracing visitors with two large towers in the middle, towers decreasing in size towards the sides, and arched entrances between these towers. A wide ring road surrounding the campus has been created to separate existing structures from development areas, preventing vehicles from entering the faculty blocks. Vehicle and pedestrian circulation areas have been largely separated from each other.

Upon entering through the campus gate, a large square measuring 160x300 meters is situated.

Directly opposite the entrance gate and on the same axis as the gate lies the Rectorate building. On the right and left sides of the square are the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, the Faculty of Engineering, and the dean's offices and lecture halls of these faculties. Five pools have been constructed in the square between the entrance gate and the Rectorate building. Between the pools and the Rectorate building stands the Atatürk and Dumlupınar Monument, which is the symbol of our university.
